Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Arroyo Custom Rigs handles information you provide through this website.
What we collect
Contact details and order information you submit (name, email, phone, shipping address), custom-quote details and any photos you send, and standard technical data such as your IP address and browser.
How we use it
To process orders and quotes, communicate about your build, provide support, and comply with law. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) — we do not store full card numbers.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us operate (payments, shipping, hosting) and when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
You may request access to or deletion of your information through our contact form, or by calling the shop.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and warranty purposes — normally seven years. Quote requests and website messages are kept while we are working with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your information sooner; see your rights below.
How we protect it
The site runs over HTTPS, the admin is password-protected and access is limited to the two of us who run the shop. Card details never touch our systems — Stripe handles payment and we only ever see the last four digits and the result. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects your information.
Children
This site is for business and adult customers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your California privacy rights
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA. They apply to you whether or not we are required to comply, because we will honour them either way.
What we collect. Identifiers (your name, phone, email and shipping address), commercial information (what you ordered and what you paid), and internet activity (your IP address and browser, from ordinary server logs). We do not collect biometric, geolocation, health, or precise financial data — Stripe holds your card details, not us.
We do not sell or share your personal information, and we never have. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker on this website, so there is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes we will say so here first.
Your rights. You may ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Make the request through our contact form or by calling the shop, and we will confirm your identity against your order before acting on it. We will respond within 45 days.
No penalty for asking. We will not refuse you service, change your price, or give you a lesser experience because you exercised any of these rights.
Cookies
What this site stores on your device, and why, is set out in our Cookie Policy.
